The redditor who took credit for creating the infamous meme featuring Donald Trump beating up CNN in a wrestling match is sorry for the reactions the video sparked, and has taken to Reddit today in order to apologize.
I would also like to apologize for the posts made that were racist, bigoted, and anti-semetic [sic]. I am in no way this kind of person, I love and accept people of all walks of life and have done so for my entire life.

Must have been threatened by RAT thugs.
Considering that it was funny as hell, and that’s about it, I’m not sure why he felt the need to apologize.
I would bet my house that this guy never, ever, thought that some people would make this into a call for violence...but the ability of the left to make everything short of total agreement with them into some kind of violence threat is simply unprecedented - and SICKENING.
The media will give him thousands for denouncing Trump.
Then maybe a high-paying ‘contributor’ gig.
It’s tough to be honest.
It’s not “infamous”. Of course they set out to destroy this guy. That’s what they do.
Making racist, bigoted, anti-Semitic posts could happen to anyone.
The video was not racist or bigoted or anti Semitic so what is he apologizing for?
There’s a post on r/The_Donald about his. They’re saying that the poor kid was threatened, and that someone else wrote his “apology.” Apparently they (the other Trump guys) can’t find him online, and are getting pretty concerned.
Will someone explain this to an old guy who has modest understanding of “posting”. As I understand it, some guy made the video of Trump body slamming cnn. He sends it to Trump ( or Trump gets it thru another source), and re-publishes from Trumps’ account, because he likes it, or something.
The guy who originally made it has a sorted past. Trump gets blamed for associating with this guy, then someone gets banned.
Is that what’s going on? If so, then what’s the big deal?
The posting history of the gif’s creator was scrutinized. The claim is that the person made bigoted, racist posts in the past.
The Swamp fights back...

What ticks me off is if this had been Obama wrestling Fox News there would’ve been tons of support and “funny item of the day” on all the news shows and this guy would be praised for the rest of his life.
We need to push back harder on this - why isn’t the GOP supporting this guy?
(Why aren’t they supporting Trump but that’s a whole other question.)
Never apologize to the SJWs.
There’s nothing quite like a sorted past.
Yes. Threats or bribes. CNN was completely humiliated (more than usual) over this. They must have made an offer he couldnt refuse
The Trump supporter who made the meme (video) does NOT have a “sordid” past. He did the meme for fun, for laughs, as a way to support Trump. r/The_Donald is full of memes and humor that the members there make and share. There are currently 442,000++ registered members of the site, and NO ONE posts anti-semitic, racist, or hateful things....only time hate stuff gets posted is when the Leftists try to infiltrate...the group self-polices, and the moderators immediately ban them.
Members are women, men, old, young, black, white, muslim, jewish, christian, gay, straight....a true cross-section of America...and a strong membership from overseas (UK, Germany, France, Israel, Latin America).
Membership shot up by approx. 20,000 after the Trump tweeted out the kid’s video meme.

He has nothing to apologize for.
The bit was funny in its own right.
If people polluted it with their own little childish embellishments that is not on the original author.
I checked his posting history myself, as soon as I saw his video and learned he was an r/T_D member...I found NOTHING offensive whatsoever.
This is suspicious.
