Are people stlll interested in radio? I’ve been trying to sell my ICOM Receiver (IC-R71A) on Craigslis. I get zero response.

My team of all new extras made 1490’ Q’s at FD.... Been whipping them into shape since CQ SSB. Got them hooked.... swallowed the hook, line, and sinker, too.

We need newbies BAD... It is up to us to snatch them any way we can....

It is definitely moving to software defined radio versus traditional ham radio.
There were certainly enough kids at the Boy Scout ham radio lessons / badge seminar my son attended.

You should keep in mind that a dual-band VHF and UHF transceiver can be purchased for around 30 dollars, bottom end. Works quite well -oh, and it’s a handie-talkie.

I’d guess your CL audience is too small. ebay or similar is much broader for radio stuff.
