The kid—whose dad is an engineer for Toyota!—came up with the idea for a device that detects when a child is alone in a car, turns on the AC, and sends out alerts/alarms after a period of time.
I see a problem, but perhaps the problem could be a solution.
The cops will come by to ticket the owner of the car for leaving their vehicle running. Hopefully they would then see the child in the car.
The fact that the IQ in this nation has dropped to where this is a thing bothers me.
With new tech many, many inventions are just waiting to come into being. Most have not caught up mentally with all the multitude of possible inventions.
