My brother told us that they encouraged them to drink beer while serving in Vietnam as it helped prevent kidney stones. I just did a search on beer and breastfeeding, and beer does help in the production of breast milk.
I kept hydrated with Jack Daniels and hot tea while in Viet Nam.
lol...they didn't just encourage us to smoke...They made certain that in every C-ration meal you had 5 cigarettes to smoke before your next gourmet meal
Kidney stones—and especially the removal of kidney stones—are definitely something to be avoided!
Beer is OK on my anti-kidney stone diet.
