I was in Canaan Valley week before last.
Hiked Dolly Sods Wilderness area, Canaan Mountain, Blackwater Falls, Otter Creek Wilderness, Canaan valley wildlife refuge, Canaan valley state park, truly beautiful area.

My wife knows a guy who is a cameraman for the crew in the Tallahassee area but they haven’t been on for a couple of weeks. The guy owns a restaurant in Baltimore and does the videographer thing for kicks.

I used to work in TV in both production and engineering but had to move on since professional poverty was getting me nowhere.
Some of my cohorts were in a clique of sorts that had some inside track into all the good paying freelance jobs. I wasn’t a member since I didn’t have the right name, didn’t go to a 4 year school, and some other stuff probably.
Big deal that I could run a department and do the job of 3 others routinely. Oh well....
I still make a few bucks with stock submissions. Maybe with things coming back I might crank up a smugmug pro account again.
Granted I never sold a thing through SM, but my portfolio helped me get a few side jobs.
I still try to get in on what little I hear about but it’s probably pointless.
