Not shockingly, the MSM and DC elites have come to the conclusion that the masses are too ignorant to realize what is afoot. Either that, or they have simply stopped caring what the masses think, at least they masses that disagree with the DC elites.
What is going on here needs to be summarized from soup to nuts. I have seen bits and pieces of this tossed around here and there, but never an overall view of the coup that is playing out before our eyes. Some talking heads call it an "attempt to de-legitiimize the President" or some such softer than reality sell. But this is a coup that started long before Trump was elected.
First and foremost the Captain Obvious statement: the goal of the leftists in this country is to gain and retain absolute power. Our democratic system must be rendered no more than the bread and circuses to give the masses an illusion of liberty. They have done this by putting in place a permanent Deep State answerable to nobody and a judiciary that is a super legislature, nullifying any order or act they disagree with and doing so without any pretense of upholding or following a law. These two components have always been in place. But their function and effectiveness has never been more bold or evident than now.
The second he announced his candidacy Trump was a threat to the new order. He had to be stopped.
During the campaign a false and completely fabricated rationale was constructed to allow an opposition administration to unmask Trump campaign personnel, spy on them and send that information to candidate Clinton and her team. Moreover, pressure was placed on the FBI director to tank a real criminal investigation (based on a real law) focusing on Clinton. Even Mr. Obama himself, not having to rely on Twitter and instead relying on his MSM Lackeys, went so far as to declare the Clinton had not broken the law. (No obstruction to see there, no siree Bob).
Even worse and more sinister is that the FBI failed to investigate the obvious pay for play scheme that was the Clinton Foundation and its DIRECT links to the Clinton campaign. Can anyone say with certainty that any investigation or inquiry into the Clinton Foundation was ever conducted?
It was assumed that Clinton would be elected and that all these misdeeds would be buried as quickly as Vince Foster was. Not so lucky, TRUMP WINS!!! The Obama Admin went into panic mode and decided to double down on the concocted Russian collusion gambit. And why not, they had an Army of deeply embedded political bureaucratic appointees at their disposal who they knew would long survive the expiration of Mr. Obama’s term.
Soon after the election, it started ever so subtly with the theory that Russia had interfered with the election. Well, no duh, they and every hostile foreign power is always trying to screw with the democratic process. But were they doing anything more sinister than the DNC itself had done to Bernie Sanders?
They dropped this factoid on the public and backed it up with “the consensus” of the intelligence agencies. Trump, seeing where this was going said fine but that isn’t why Hillary lost. The MSM angry at him for jumping the gun said, of course not we are just saying that the earth spins, Russians spy, do you refute that!?!? How could anyone refute that.
Now the conflation came. The conflation any fool who knows how the MSM works could see coming. Russia trying to interfere with our election became Trump worked with them and encouraged them to do so. Trump saw this coming, we saw it coming but regardless, the MSM did what it always does and extended us the middle finger. Now the DC elites hopped onboard and voila, there was the conspiracy theory needed for the Dems and their looney followers to latch onto as to why the election of Trump was invalid.
But it spiraled from there into not only does the election not count, it should be reversed. As much as “Bush stole Florida” was a rallying cry for the Dems in 2000 they mainly used it to disrespect Bush but never to call for his impeachment. Now the Dems are broaching new territory with “although there are no facts AT THIS TIME, this is a serious charge that could lead to Trump’s impeachment.”
At the heart of the Russian Collusion gambit, is it not funny that no underlying crime was alleged? In fact Trump was never under investigation and even if there was a crime there was NO, ZERO evidence of Trump engaging in any collusion. Regardless, the Deep State (Comey as a primary agent) refused to announce Trump was clear, although Comey leaked just about every other damn thing. Instead, the Deep State continued to leak false information that there was collusion. They used the information to de facto seize control of the Justice Department.
Aiding and abetting in that was Chazz Shoooomah. He ensured that all the President’s nominees would be slow walked so that the Obama holdovers could remain in power and continue to undermine Trump and, really, the election. Shoemah and the rest of the democrats knew full well that Trump was never under investigation and neither was his campaign. Nonetheless, they vociferously called for a special counsel, something that was never even broached when Obama was having his great Nixonian moments such as misusing the IRS to punish his political appointments (racism to call for that, don’t cha know).
When no special counsel was appointed, it was leak time. And based upon a memo that NOBODY to this day has even seen, a memo that reflects one party’s recollection of a two person conversation, a memo that if it does exist should not have been leaked, a memo or whatever it is that was leaked in response to a tweet that didn’t happen until after the memo was leaked, YA BASED ON THAT MEMO, a special counsel was appointed. And what a winner for a special counsel we have!! He is the buddy of the guy who BY HIS OWN ADMISSION, was the driver in getting him appointed and leaking said memo.
And now that a special counsel has been appointed, its “Russia what Russia!?! Collusion, oh, we was just kidding bout that. Its all about obstruction of justice now!!”
Yes, obstruction of justice of an investigation that started last year by a democrat admin into a Republican candidate. An investigation that should have never happened in the first place, into a crime that doesn’t exist and, even if it did, for which no evidence existed or exists that it was committed. An investigation that is going on so that it can justify its existence in the first place and then continue to investigate in the second place.
What I have described above is so obvious that even a damn simpleton like me can see it. Yet our betters in the MSM and DC think they are just sooo clever. Chaz Schoomah thinks a cutie and clever coup d’etat is the way to go.
The Animal Farm gang (and that includes the GOPe) believes that the single greatest violation of civil liberties in the history of this country will simply be accepted by the masses. They should think the hell again!! They should especially think again when the leftist mob they have whipped into a frenzy has started the shooting.
Verdict first, jury later. Well, they can stick it as far as I am concerned. What is happening to Trump will be the pattern for everyone and anyone who opposes the state.

Absolutely not. I know someone will chime in with this but before they do, I fully realize that many in the GOP are all aboard with the Coup. I just have to laugh that the GOP misses that point that once the opposition is made illegal, this means them as well.

All of this goes back to Onambla. There is much for them to fear being exposed. The more they can keep the Trump administration tied up in knots, the longer it will take for them to uncover it.
What is their near term objective....complete disarmament of the public. Once the pubic is disarmed they can complete their Coup 'd etat and completely destroy the Representative republic we have now. Dismantle the Electoral college and institute the popular vote...then they can move to amending the constitution via the courts. Imagine the the Supremes ruled that there is no right to keep and bear arms...that it only applies to the militia? Then they would amend free speech to be what they believe, and then search and seizure and on and on. At that point, the US would look like Zimbabwe and where South Africa is headed now. They would flood the USA with blacks, arab muslims, and central american mestizo's and whitey could be dispossessed of his property and denied rights by a majority vote, and a quick ruling by a Supreme court similarly minded.
This is where I was thinking this is headed.
Excellent post, not a thing I disagree with. This is a coup, plain and simple. Mueller is hiring Democrat donors, is a long time associate of Comey, and I’m sure I posted soon as he was appointed that if the Democrats were drooling over him, it was bad news and would be a witch hunt.
Trump should fire him as soon as possible, even though the left will go berserk.
Anyone with a little sense should see this is an organized attempt to overthrow a president and put in place one the elite can manipulate.
There is one reason for this. Trump announced on day one that politicians were dishonest, corrupt and incompetent and he would stop the corruption in DC. They are terrified, they know he fully intends to do exactly that, and as I’ve said many times, their DC gravy train will be derailed.
He’s already started, an executive order that bans govt officials from becoming lobbyists for 5 years and a bill, I think it was, that shuts down the slush fund in the DOD.
The press has tried every manner of propaganda, the deep state has tried every kind of leak they can think of, Trump is still relatively unscathed.
Buckle up, I’ve said that too, it’s going to get bumpier still. The shooting recently was on!y the beginning, more violence will come, and I hope the President has brought in his own security to help, I’m not sure even the secret service can be trusted.
He also should watch his back, all the GOP pretending to support him are only awaiting their chance to pounce. Especially Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. Weasels both of them.
Mueller will find evidence if he has to invent it, Comey is a liar and should be investigated, the whole thing is a witch hunt and should be shut down, all they want to do is tie Trump up dealing with all this so he can’t govern.
