Armed SAS troops are disguising themselves as beggars in a bid to stop future terrorist attacks. Soldiers armed with Heckler and Koch MP7 guns and medical kits are stationed at key positions in cities and are ready to strike at a moment's notice. Troops from the Counter Revolutionary Warfare Wing have reportedly been drafted for the operation.

Several issues with this one sentence.

DailyMail and Mirror desseminating this covert ops info by an alleged military source...sure as hell wasn’t the SAS. Most likely a pol buttressing the sagging PM T. May. Never mind Theresa May’s long term hacking away at police numbers.

Tip off, the mention of a specific weapon, something a shiny slimey pol does trying establish his bona fides. Down article MoD declines comment.

Second point, “...have been deployed for some time now ...”

Fat lot of good that’s done...again a subtle British display of slipping the knife and blame to someone else.

So if TROPies keep a hard eye out for surprisingly fit and alert young men seeming to be street furniture being approached by similar but cleaner better dressed versions bearing sammiches, why they might be on to something.
