Oh, so many to choose from...

"Bully For Bugs", "Hillbilly Hare" and "Rhapsody Rabbit" are right at the top, though. Love the "banned" wartime 'toons as well.

I never understood the damage these cartoons did to me. All these years I’ve been ordering products from Acme and things never really worked out the way I thought they would.

Coyote episodes are the best. I love the one where he has a business card that says “Wile E. Coyote, Genius.”

Mel Blanc was absolutely the best. Did great work on the Jack Benny Show, too—provided the voice for “characters” ranging from Professor LeBlanc (who invariably committed suicide after giving Jack a violin lesson), to Jack’s Maxwell automobile. A key element of the best cast on the greatest comedy show from radio’s Golden Age.

Another interesting fact: Blanc’s contract with Warner Bros stipulated that he was the only voice artist would receive on-screen credit. So a lot of talented folks like June Foray (Tweety Bird) and Arthur Q. Bryan (Elmer Fudd) got paid for their work, but were never acknowledged at the time the cartoons were released.

BTW, Ms. Foray is still with us. She turns 100 later this year.

The one where the coyote/wolf named Charlie is settling down in a hugh easy chair, to watch the game:

(announcer): “...he’s steppin’ into the batters box, he’s knocking the diort off his shoes...and...he’s outta the box...”

“CHARLIE!” (charlies battleaxe wife enters)....

Charlie startles out of chair, hits roof.

I still laugh and laugh everytime I think of it.

Warner Bros. I think.

Let’s all Square Dance.
Places all.
Bow to your corner,
bow to your own.

Three hands up and round you go,
break it up with a dosey do.
Chicken in the bread pan kickin’ out dough.
Skip to ma Lou, my darling.

The old lady out, you pretty little thing,
promenade around the ring.
Big foot up and little foot down,
make that big foot jar the ground.

Lady step back and two gents in,
back you go and forward again.
Step right up with an elbow swing.
Skip to ma Lou, my darling.

Allemande left with the old left hand,
follow through with a right-left grand.
Meet your honey with a great big smile,
promenade Indian style.

*Bugs Bunny takes over*

Promenade across the floor,
sashay right on out the door.
Out the door and into the glade,
and everybody promenade.

*violin*

Step right up, you’re doing fine,
I’ll pull your beard, you pull mine.
Yank it again like you did before,
break it up with a tug o’war.

*violin*

Now into the brook and fish for the trout,
dive right in and splash about.
Trout, trout, pretty little trout,
one more splash and come right out.

*violin*

Shake like a hound dog, shake again,
wallow around in the ol’ pig pen.
Wallow some more, y’all know how,
roll around like an ol’ fat sow.

Allemande left with your left hand,
follow through with a right-left grand.
Now leave your partner, the dirty ol’ thing,
follow through with an elbow swing.

Grab a fence post, hold it tight,
womp your partner with all your might.
Hit him in the chin, hit him in the head,
hit him again, that critter ain’t dead.

Womp him low and womp him high,
stick your finger in his eye.
Pretty little rhythm, pretty little sound,
bang your heads against the ground.

*violin*

Promenade all around the room,
promenade like a bride and groom.
Open up the door and step right in,
close the door and into a spin.

Whirl, whirl, twist and twirl,
jump all round like a flyin’ squirrel.
Now don’t you cuss and don’t you swear,
just come right out and form a square.

*violin*

Now right hand over and left hand under,
both join hands and run like thunder.
Over the hill and over the dale,
duck your head and lift your tail.

*violin*

Don’t you stray and don’t you roam,
turn around and promenade home.
Corn in the crib pen, wheat in the sack,
turn your partner and promenade back.

*violin*

And now you’re home.
Bow to your partner.
Bow to the gent across the hall.
And that is all.

Oh yes, Porky Pigs Feat was awesome! Also agree with What’s Opera Doc. Another great one is Hillbilly Hare, where Mel Blanc did an excellent job calling a square dance.
