I’m not sure if I posted this correctly, but I bet I will find out soon enough. I think I was supposed to say this in Comment Box. I’m sorry if it has already been posted,. I checked, and didn’t see anything.

I have been boycotting GE products ever since Immelt pushed bammy on us. He is as evil as Soros.

None, just heard on radio. I remember he was announced as, or became, Chairman around same day as 9/11. All in all, a tough time to be a CEO.

I think it’s interesting that a Healthcare guy is taking over. A sign of the times, perhaps.

The stock has trailed the market but the dividend remains relatively high.

Glad to see the last of Immelt. Hope this new guy gets on the Trump Train and makes GE great again.

Immelt’s business model was crony capitalism. Put GE in industries where it could suckle off the government teat and then hire a ton of lobbyists to get more and more from the government.

I was just reading about his retirement package. The different news sites are all over the map. Some say he was booted, some say he’s been eyeing his retirement for a long time. At least business news still has some variation. I haven’t read yet that it is Trump’s fault, but the day is still young!

It probably is Trump’s fault. He said NO to GE’s crony capitalism : )

I hope the company does well too. One of the historically great American companies, and the changes it has made over the century have been interesting, and nimble. So, I want it to be an American Great Again Company, not just a global company.

Coming from Western Pa, I loved the headline yesterday on Drudge about the Coal Mine opening. Best coal in the world!

I found it really interesting that a CREDIT guy was tapped, given that GE recently divested the vast majority of GE Capital.
