It's now been confirmed that Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman movie has been banned outright in Lebanon.
The decision was made by the Lebanese government, who took issue with the fact that the movie's Israeli star, Gal Gadot, served her mandatory time in the country's military. Wonder Woman was only scheduled to screen in 15 locations in Lebanon anyway, so this is not expected to make much of a dent in the film's international box office haul.
Lebanon has a government? Too bad the christians are gone. Is that fact fixable?
And this is a “moderate” Muslim country.
Wonderwoman really should have been cast as a trans man anyway.
Is that the new Wonder Woman?? Kinda pretty in a pre-teen sort of way.
