Current raising is an acknowledgment of the math for 2018, 2020, etc.
25 Dem seats up for grabs, 11 of which are very vulnerable.
Compared to 8 Republican seats and only 2 vulnerable.
That is a math problem even Pythagorean can’t resolve in your favor.
There is no mathematical way for Dems to reach a majority of anything and that is before we discuss probabilities, because possibility would be a stupid discussion.
Now, when the economy starts to roar, Trump will have seated at least one more SCOTUS AND 150 Federal Judges, gets some more of his initiative promises passed, illegal immigration continues to shrink then Republicans will be buoyed to vote in larger numbers.
And that is just for 2018.
I expect Trump to start using the bully pulpit and call the American people to action and press the house to act boldly.
Once we increase our numbers in 2018 we will have even greater control of legislation, another 100-150 Federal Judgeships will be seated and the deep state bureaucracy will be cleansed further.
Look for a landslide 2020 in Trumps favor and with an even greater representation it will then be time for redistricting, which improves our voting edge in 2022 and 2024.
The Dems should be screwed for the next decade but, I am never amazed at the RNC ability to snatch defeat from exhilarating victory.
Let’s review the outlook for 2020:
2-3 more SCOTUS replaced
300+ Federal Judges seated(maybe the 9th circuit is re-org’d)
Republicans will increase their numbers by possibly filibuster proof margins.
The economy couod very well be humming along at 3% or better, which may be possible from a man who thinks big, believes Americans deserve to win, be himself loves to win, doesn’t set low expectations and effin won’t apologize for being amazing(contrast that with the last pinhead, who was mediocre at best).
Trump has surrounded himself with “Dollar a Year Men”. These are men who have no use for excuses and have built great companies. Like Trump they believe in America, they know how to get there efficiently and they make no excuses for failure.
ObamaCare is freakin toast before we fix it.
The fence will be built, which is better for America and Mexico, because we can then create policy making it easier to immigrate and Why The Hell can’t they hit the H1-B visa lottery?
Mexicans can do the jobs Indians and Chinese do.
We are going to fix tax policy as well and bring back boat loads of offshore cash via a virtual WWII armada.
The EPA will be re-org’d and the best part? A huge RIF. then those former givernment types can pursue art or take lengthy vacations(Nancy Pelosi says “You’re Welcome”)
The entire Obama administration “achievements” will be reversed, erased and scrubbed.
Trump’s administration in fact, will go Pharoah with prejudice “Let his name be stricken from ....and never spoken again”
It may very well be some of George Bush’s and the idiot congress at the time errors will be corrected.
