MRIs are uncommonly unpleasant. I’ve had one or two and really had to resist the panic.
I survived just focusing on breathing. . Didn’t think about taking an anti-anxiety med. Would definitely try it should I ever need another MRI.

Try an EMG with nerve conductivity testing. That’s “unpleasant”.

Coming up on the third MRI in two days the doc gave me a shot of Lorazepam (Ativan)....and I actually enjoyed it...Star Trek fantasies ensued.
