What evidence is there that this was a botched robbery? I know nothing was taken, so where does that conclusion come from.

There is as much evidence to support a botched robbery as there is to support a botched gun cleaning attempt or botched target practice attempt. Perhaps the shooter was lining up on a squirrel and Seth stepped in the way.

What evidence is there that this was a botched robbery? I know nothing was taken, so where does that conclusion come from. How do they KNOW that nothing was taken? All they know is that his wallet and watch were not taken. They have no certain knowledge of what else he might have been carrying (like perhaps a flash drive with compromising info).
