Probably a joke but if they do run as independents, it would certainly ensure Trump's re-election. His mother was born in Samoa and his father, Rocky Johnson is Canadian born, Black Nova Scotian, but he himself was born in CA (though, IF by some crazy twist of fate it would still qualify him if CA does secede?)

The Rock is awesome in Rundown.

Bought it in Shanghi for ~.70 cents for no particular reason and it turned out to be one of my all time favs.

President? No.

Best chance to win for the democrats, but party bosses will torpedo it.

Can’t have outsiders jumpin ahead of their place...

A lot of celebrities are going to jump into the 2020 race thinking that because they are rich and famous, that they can duplicate Donald Trump's shocking and historical victory.

They will find out very quickly however that winning the presidency is not as easy as Trump made it look. Donald Trump is one in a million. Yes, Trump is rich and famous but he is New York tough. Almost anybody else going through what he went through would have melted like a snowflake in August.

All these pampered and sheltered celebrities will not last very long in a grueling presidential campaign. It will however be fun to watch them try. Mark Zuckerberg, I dedicate this reply to you.

Men who haven’t actually done anything, but pretend to be expert at everything.

They sound perfect for The Swamp, they will fit in just fine with all the other lying masters of nothing.

The Rock is going to ruin his career. He claims he doesn’t want to be political and alienate his fanbase, but now wants to run against Trump.

But they'll be running as democrats.

It would make Obama 08' coverage look grueling.

COMEDIAN

You cannot debate a comedian. The comedian always wins because they spends many hours in front of audiences.

Best strategy is ridicule the comedian for joking about serious matters and joking & degrading Americans & their hard work.

I'd be surprised if she doesn't retire before 2020.

She seriously looks like she's having issues with elderly dementia at her recent public appearances.

Which is very bad for the democrats. As much as she is a poster for liberal excess, she was a relentless rainmaker for fundraising.

All true. But from the get-go Trump had his finger on the pulse of Americans’ key issues that GOPE was ignoring.

Considering that 99% of our politicians are just actors who obey their puppet masters, why not get the best actors to do the job?

But maybe they should be the president and vice president of a newly formed nation of California. And show us how to make liberalism work.

(Dwayne Johnson and Tom Hanks are probably considered far right by Hollywood standards.)

Pelosi? She's 77, and will be over 80 by 2020. She's adapted to the House and knows how to stay in the leadership. She'd be lost in a presidential campaign and she knows it. Besides, she may yet become Speaker again.
