RANKIN (KDKA) — A Woodland Hills School District employee is headed to trial on charges he allegedly physically assaulted a student.
After his preliminary hearing on Wednesday, 50-year-old Joseph Golden III, of Verona, shielded his face from TV cameras when he came out of the courtroom Thursday.
He’s been ordered to stand trial on charges of simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Golden was a faculty member at the Woodland Hills Promise Alternative School in Rankin. He has been suspended. His job description was a behavioral specialist.

The video’s not much evidence against the defendant. It only shows him dragging the yout down a hall. Nothing shows what started the incident or where the “victim” was being taken. The defendant also appears to have been some type of a school disciplinary officer whose job included bouncer-like duties were he’d have to do that kind of thing from time to time.
There’s another video, he’s being drug down the hall by the neck while be chocked.
Bottom line if the the teachers had the “board of education” in the lower grades a lot of this nonsense would be cut out.
Libs just mess up everything.
That’s why the kids run amok.
WH is a bad district. Lotsa youts with no respect. Drugs, gang activity etc.
