My brother in law is a financial analyst at a VERY well known company and he said as a white guy there’s only so far he’ll get there. And he said even worse is his last name is White.
Blacks are only 13% - you’d think they are at least 51%.

I had the privilege of working with Miss Louisiana back in 1985. We were both pharmacy students doing our internships. She was a lovely lady but in the hospital she was but another student intern. When in the hospital she was nothing more nor less than just another pharmacy student doing our required hours. In the hospital she was nothing special just another one of us. Her status as Miss Louisiana meant absolutely nothing and if someone had of not told me she was Miss Louisiana I would have not even known. She was a very nice lady and did her job just as the rest of us did. She was a very humble person but beautiful. A very nice lady she was and I must presume still is.
Looks too muscular. Too big boned. Too much like a man.
I forgot to add that she did make runner up for Miss America. She was a very nice lady and in the pharmacy worked very hard. Her status as Miss Louisiana meant absolutely nothing to her in the pharmacy. She just did her job as the rest of the pharmacy students did.
The management in the pharmacy to their credit treated her just like another pharmacy intern.
