This article touches on how college educated women want to be with college educated men. And that there are more college educated women than men in this country.

Some may disagree, but seems to me, that women can be harshly judged if they are not with someone if equal or greater education/income/career status.

Does anyone ever harshly judge professional men who marry a secretary or file clerk or someone who is hired help in a department store?? Yet a professional woman marrying someone who works at Target in some hired help job is unusual.

I don’t think it’s outside pressure that stops women from marrying down- it’s more something that runs counter to their psyche in most cases.

That’s true. On the other hand, just because a woman is college educated doesn’t mean that they were capable of making a lot of money. Most things women major in are pretty worthless. Actually most things anybody majors in are pretty worthless these days.
