Good to hear this fellow is still around.

"Love My Way" was one of the best songs of the 80s.

The original “Pretty in Pink” (not the bastardized version from the Movie Soundtrack), is one of the best songs of the 80s.

I think so too. Pretty in Pink basically sums up the 80's. Although, Thomas Dolby's "One of our Submarines" is right up there.

Hey, beautiful, thanks! I love the Furs, and I think Richard Butler is one of the best lyricists in rock history. Not to mention he’s a great singer!

Always amazed at how under-rated he is, and the Furs, too.

I actually have the album this is on, from some years ago.

Thanks again for posting.

I listen to a stream from a college radio station that plays “basement rock”, also called “New Alternative.” Basically, there are actually some kids today who still play music very similar to our 80’s music. 80’s music didn’t just die out. Good to hear some kids still respecting it.

Most of their songs are very well written. His style is a unique combination of influences.

"The Golden Age of Wireless" is a desert-island disc for me. And the thing is, "She Blinded Me With Science" is probably only the fourth or fifth best song on the album. I love "Airwaves."

“The Ghost In You” - lot of great memories for me in that song, the Psychedelic Furs had some great music in the ‘80s. Good to see this guy is still active and making music - I will check this out.

Surprisingly good vocal range for his age! I avoid all the super great music gods that I adored from 1977-1984 and are still running about trying to get more mileage out of thier old songs. Most look gastly and sound froggish.

My Ex tossed out my original PFurs 1979 "world tour" wife beater shirt. It was the best.

Butler started out with a froggy vocal style but in this 2006 song I am impressed.

Thanks for posting
