FBI source tells me Comey dropped the Susan Rice unmasking investigation bc it would have implicated himself. Developing
Might not be accurate, but certainly something to keep in mind as Comey is called to testify before Congress.
He could have given himself an immunity deal, just like he gave all the other guilty people!
Maybe they’ve learned the precedent set by the most recent immunity deals
I already firmly believe this and McCain has been screaming and yelling because he’s also involved. Comey was dragging his feet answering Congress about the surveillance. We’re living through another massive liberal/ media cover up.
He just declined to testify. They should subpoena him.
There are also reports that the FBI paid for the report and other information from the British Intel agent. And there are questions as to who decided to include the report in Trump's first intel briefing that was also attended by Obama. Comey could indeed be a party to all of this. His role needs to be investigated thoroughly, especially if it impacted the failure to initiate an investigation into the leaks and who unmasked Flynn.
I believe that Trump and company are deeply investigating the unmasking and surveillance stories and are putting the evidence together.
They will release it all in one big blow.

Taxpayers demand Rice answer questions....and they want answers now. Questions for Rice:
1. When did you request the unmasking, and from which agency?
2. Who in that agency actually did the unmasking? Please provide the written requests you submitted.
3. Once the names were unmasked, did you still believe there was a threat to national security from the named US persons?
4. If so, with whom did you share the information, and what actions were taken to protect America and American citizens?
5. If you did not, then you should not have shared the names with anyone else, so how did the names become known?
6. Why was any of the info detailed here deliberately withheld on the FISA application? (it's a felony to willfully withhold information when applying for a FISA).

Alarmingly, the supposed ‘threat’ identified by Rice was about to be inaugurated as President of the US. Shouldn’t Congress have been notified? Why did Rice keep it a secret? Maybe she planned to collude w/ the Clintons to sell the intel to a foreign country?
The NSA didn’t unmask the information initially, plus later investigations found NO collusion between Russia and Trump. Seems to be proof-positive that whatever suspicions Obama/Rice/Brennan may have had to justify the unmasking were absolutely wrong, or more likely non-existent.

If you just look at Comey’s mannerisms, listen to his parsing and his evasive answers, you know he’s hiding something big. Honest and forthright people don’t behave like that.

And that, I believe, is the main reason why Dems are so hysterical about Trump. They know he is in a position to do some serious and lasting damage to them. He is holding all the cards and they know it. They are terrified of him.
However...there is probably even more damning stuff out there that is yet to come. The Dems are facing a potential avalanche of politically devastating information that could go on for years.
Of course, the FBI has always been notorious for shredding.
