One thing I've noticed about the more rabid liberals is that they are ready to swallow anything that fits the narrative. If something has taken them in hook, line, and sinker, and they learn it is false, they'll drop it--only to pick up the next shiny object thrown at them. It seems that no matter how many times they fall for a falsehood and it is proven false, they just keep believing. They will never, ever, question the narrative that keeps churning out the falsehoods.
I know this from the experience of having a mindlessly liberal relative.
In this instance the FB friend was middle of the road and reasonable, didn’t really like Trump but didn’t latch on to every shiny object. Then they got to put their PhD to use, as a counselor of some sort at a college in the Boston area. Then they went full retard, to the point where most of their long time friends have started to un friend/follow them.
Kinda sad to watch and they used to be fun to had out with, etc.
