Well, things got messy in “F Troop”!
I think the last movie I saw Parks in was “Wicked” (ca. 1999). He was in “Twin Peaks”, but I never realized it, so didn’t notice him.

It was a good show. “Moonlighting” stole most of it’s thunder a bit later on - and then proceeded to lose it fairly quickly.
So do I.
My wife and I at the time really enjoyed the show.
I really liked Stephanie Zymbalist. (sp?)
She was a good actress, and I thought she was a really cute.
We talked about Steel, and said that at some point he’d make a great James Bond.
It never quite panned out as good as I thought it would, but he did a reasoned job of it.
He ran the kahuna boys? I thought that was Mickey Rourke.
I remember him mostly for “Then Came Bronson”.
Great show! I loved it! That show was the reason I rode motorcycles when I was a young man.

Janet Margolin was cuter and hotter than Ann-Margret.
There was very little plot carry over from one episode to the next. You could miss 2 episodes and watch the next episode without having to rely on what had happened in the previous two episodes.
Now, most tv shows have multiple story lines that carry over from one episode to the next with little if any resolution. If the show gets cancelled prematurely, you are left with no closure and a bunch of open, unresolved plot lines
Try watching the series Lost with a missing episode.
You will be Lost.
I have the book Steele Loved about the show and it’s an autographed copy.
It came with some theater papers signed by Stephanie.
After Efrem died, a request in lieu of flowers were requests for donations to a couple of charities.
I made a couple of small donations and thought nothing of it.
A few weeks later I got a kind card in the mail from a Skip Zimbalist thanking me along with Stephanie. I still have it.

Yes, you’re right. Now you skip a single show and five characters are lost and another five have been added.
As for soaps, in the old days you could miss a daytime series for months at a time, and the first show you viewed after that period, you picked it right up seemingly where you left off. I can remember looking in on the show as much as five years later, and still knew most of the characters.
My grandmother liked a couple of them. As the World Turns and the Edge of Night. LOL
Some of those early SNL guys were excellent comedians.
I still miss Garric Morris. Chico Esquela... or something close to that. The Dominican baseball player character.

Both were good. I think the characters on “Moonlighting” played off on each other better than on Steele, tho.

Still one of my favorites.
I liked the classic movie references and subtle in-jokes.
One of my favorites is a dental convention in the same hotel as a chocolate maker’s.
