Um, land mines can be removed by a later administration. What some are hoping for is a permanent structure that cannot be disabled by future Presidents.

A wall needs top be manned 24x7 or it is worthless. But a wall is a huge force multiplier that is why so many globalist are against it.

I’d just send a line of donkey’s through first. Those that make it through, follow their tracks, jump on, and be gone. Viola..

"It CAN be breached with a tall enough ladder. It CAN have holes cut in it."

No, it can't.

This is the country that allegedly went to the moon. And now we are letting scoundrel politicians convince us that we cannot build a wall that will work?

I'm starting to doubt we went to the moon. Too hard. Things could happen along the way. No women on board. Probably was racist and homophobic too.

Thanks for doing a vanity to share your unique and insightful viewpoint. No doubt the ensuing video of dead and maimed women and children all over the MSM would play great with the general public.

Just stop handing out free money, schools and medical to illegals and the wall will be in their way as they exit on their own.

An Unbaited trap catches no rats.

Why make it so hard? Just set up remote devices for sound, motion, and camera. then if someone walks into the country, shoot’em. That’s what Mexico does at their southern border.

But here’s something that will work also: we currently give Mexico a huge amount of money for petroleum as they are our second largest contributor next to Canada and above Venezuela. Finish the Keystone, and stop buying from them because they won’t work with us keeping their citizens out of our country. When they can’t feed themselves, they could have a behavior change. Up to them.

[[I am so tired of listening to liberals and weak Republicans arguing about a wall along our southern border that I want to scream. However, at this late date, I’m beginning to see their point. It IS expensive. ]]

Expensive? NOPE! NOT building the wall is expensive- almost 1 TRILLION DOLLARS per year expensive-

years ago studies were done that estimated the cost of illegals in this country to be between $400 BILLION DOLLARS and $600 BILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR

The wall is a one time fee of around $20 billion dollars- that’s it! you will have a small yearly maintenance fee- but nowhere near $600 BILLION DOLLARS worth-

Build the damn wall and deport illegals! and stop talking about how expensive it is- it’s a freakin bargain- and the money we save will be tremendous- We will get a return on our money in just the first month or so

I would respectfully disagree. Land mines can mess with cattle, deer, armadillos, etc. If one was to give the 1st Special Operations Wing that same 1/4 mile strip, there is something about the wwwwwrrrrruuuuuppppp about half a second after you see that red streak heading for the ground that sends a never to be forgotten message from an AC-130 Spectre.

Turn off the magnet. Better than a wall or a mine field.

And be able to turn the mines on and off. Make them all active for a year, blow up a few illegals so they know they are there. Then turn them in and off randomly so only 1% of them are active at any given time. Then sit back in a Clint Eastwood rocking chair and say to the border...”do you feel lucky, punk?” Might even make a reality show out if it to pay for the mines. I have always thought mines were the solution to this problem
