Prosecutors said Friday they are dropping charges against two Hispanic teens accused of raping a 14-year-old girl in a Montgomery Countyhigh school restroom, a case that drew national attention after the White House cited it as an example of why the president wants to crack down on illegal immigration. Montgomery County State's Attorney John McCarthy said at a news conference that the rape and sex offense charges were being dropped after a "painstaking investigation" of a 14-year-old girl's claim that the two teens took turns raping her in the bathroom at Rockville High School. Defense attorneys said the sex was consensual. They pointed to text messages in which the girl agreed to a sexual encounter, an explicit video the girl sent one of the teens, and security camera footage which they said shows the girl running to meet one of the teens and willingly entering the restroom with him. At the news conference, McCarthy said the girl was interviewed multiple times and the investigation revealed a "lack of corroboration and substantial inconsistencies."

She ran to meet one. Even if sex with the one she went to meet was consensual (if she could legally consent at 14), when the second arrived, two may have pushed her boundaries, and then it would, indeed, have been rape, if she no longer wished to participate.
Parents need to sue the school for a billion or two. 14?

So now that the other teens in Maryland learned under the right circumstances, you can rape 14 year olds....

I think all three are guilty, and perhaps the girl more than the boys. What she did was dangle a piece of red meat in front of two hungry lions. What did she expect?
It is this type of libertine behavior that women are being taught that it is their right. Stupidity has serious consequences.
Illegal aliens are special.
If they charged and convicted these guys, they might get deported, so they had to let them go.
If these are illegal aliens (particularly those who entered in the last few years of the Obama regime) it would not be unusual at all for them to be significantly older than the ages they claimed upon entry.
But, IN MARYLAND, the authorities are unlikely to investigate that possibility.
Deport them.
Yes, what about statutory rape, prison and execution or deport. No matter what, deport dead or alive.
We are only removing illegal aliens who have prior removal orders and criminal convictions.

You don’t know that. Even the school admitted they are going by what age the rapists “SAY” they are. They are undocumented, after all.
The original charges also said the 14 year old said “no” and tried to resist the attack by holding onto a sink. The SVA chief said the cops had an airtight case.
This is beyond disgusting.
Either she had consensual sex with one of them and was raped by the other, or she changed her mind and decided against sex completely — saying no being “no” and all — and the boys would not take no for an answer and raped her.
She was raped, bottom line.
If this had been two Christian white boys, they would have been convicted by now.
