The Flying Murdoch Brothers will put “Me-Again” McCain in Hannity’s time slot.

I said it last week, and it's worth repeating...

Ever since the Rupert Murdoch sons took over the reigns at FOX, the network seems to be “allowing” its most visible personalities to be attacked by the left, with very little from the network to fight the allegations. It’s like the Murdoch sons brought about or eased the way for liberals to go on the attack and bring down FOX news. So, is it a “coincidence” that with the Murdoch boys in charge, that the network’s most important personalities have been under attack?

Hannity and O'Reilly and Ailes should get together and "bring the gang back together".

The Murdoch sons will be the ones being let go in the near future, when the stockholders at NewsCorp start wondering whatever happened to their cash cow.

Typical liberal strategy: find something that works just fine, take it over and ruin it.

That’s true but in this case they only care about their Progressive Agenda. They have plenty of money to lose and don’t care as long as they can eliminate conservative thought and promoting their agenda.

Typical liberal strategy: find something that works just fine, take it over and ruin it. Then call everybody racist for not wanting anything to do with their realized dystopia.

Only in education, environment, health care, government at all levels, and the media.

They've pretty much left everything else alone.

Fox is dying to become mediocre in the ratings?

I didn’t watch much Fox prime time but their numbers were yuge. Are they still big?

I think as cable companies are being shunted aside, the need to draw and keep an audience is more important for news shows.

Maybe Fox is now run by the billionaire SJW sons of Rupert who don’t care if they make money.

There is some talk of some wealthy conservatives creating a new news channel, bringing on board the victims of FNCs suicide efforts.

They would probably start by buying in to a cable channel with limited coverage, so they could demonstrate their appeal, as well as having Internet broadcasts. This would “sell” them to the big cable companies, so they would continue to expand until they were broadcasting nationally.

It would be essential to build conservative support, which first means getting the message out that they exist, then asking conservatives to call their cable company and ask that they should be added to the lineup.

It would also be a huge help to have an interview pipeline direct from the White House and conservatives in congress, with very friendly, exclusive interviews. They could also have a whole bunch of once a week half hour shows from conservative organizations: the NRA, Right to Life, CATO, Heritage Foundation, The American Conservative Union, American Family Association, etc. Ask them to produce interesting original content.

They could also bring in a large number of Internet conservatives to provide “freelance” content, as well as having an emphasis on hiring combat veterans as staff.

Some of us can remember when MSNBC was more like Fox than Fox is today. It was, in the late 90’s, the closest thing to a conservative station out there. Then the WaPo’s Newsweek got involved and it was the end of MSNBC as many of its better on-air personalities bolted to FNS.

That's a good theory, which assumes that cable TV survives as a mainstream medium. Many counted on FOX News as the reasonable alternative to the MSM. But that goes back, what, 20 years ago? Technology has moved on, and the traditional cable pricing model may have reached its term limit. Prediction - within 10 years, the large cable systems will do menu pricing, or be just like Blockbuster is today.

Hannity tweeted that this is not true. He is NOT leaving the network.

I think this is true. Hannity strikes me as a pretty stable guy, not someone to make decisions on based on knee jerk reactions.

On the other hand, if things go bad at Fox, I could see Hannity at some point in the time leaving Fox for another network. I think that is how this will play out.

Most big stars on FNC prime time had exits clauses in their contracts that said they could leave if Ailes left.. Greta Van Sustern was the only one who took advantage of it right away.

Looks like Hannity could actually do it legally..
