When teams ignored off-field concerns and drafted a troubled player in this week’s NFL draft, they were gambling. The Dallas Cowboys gambled on defensive end Randy Gregory with a second round pick in 2015, and it appears they’ll get almost nothing out of it. Gregory has failed yet another drug test, according to TMZ Sports. It’s his seventh known failed test, TMZ said.

Randy Gregory was a top 5 first round talent, probably the best pass rusher in the draft, but drug issues dropped him to the 2nd day where the Cowboys used a 2nd round pick. Appears Mr. Gregory could not overcome his addiction and will be out of the league.

Jerry Jones says he's skeptical of report. Whatever that's worth.

Tennis got one of the Big stars on a sinus/allergy script, 2 yr suspension. It was on the OK list one day, then off a week later, and her med handler didn’t keep up with that list. She was gracious about it and didn’t have a hissy fit.

From the article: But according to TMZ, a test Gregory took on Feb. 21 was positive for marijuana.

This one did.

Half of Congress probably couldn’t pass a drug test.

But the weed lovers insist it is not addictive, so why does this player throw away a multi-million future to keep using it? Inquiring minds want to know.

“Inquiring minds want to know.”

Just about anything is addictive; sugar, caffeine, alcohol, masturbation, sex...I have known two women who were addicted to tanning. At a relatively young age the skin on these Caucasian women looked like an old brown leather couch. The brain is complicated.

Weed is fat soluble and stays in body fat for a month after last toke.

Watched many an Army career crash & burn from P-test that came up hot for weed.

You pays yo’ money and you takes yo’ choice.

That horse has left the barn. Watch that live Cop TV show on A&E sometime. Practically every car they stop for doing something stupid has weed in it. No joke. Depressing our culture has become that debased.

I saw a documentary on drug use where a guy (whose girlfriend was about to give birth) knew he had to take a scheduled drug test the following day. He still smoked weed though...and predictably went back to prison for violating parole.

He was addicted.
