Police are looking for a woman who pointed a gun at a barber all because her son's haircut was taking too long.
Security video captures her pulling out a gun in at Allstate Barber College on Lorain Avenue in Cleveland on April 14. Police say she threatens the barbers for taking too long to cut her son's hair. While she pointed the gun at the victim, she allegedly said, "I got two clips. I'll pop you!"
The victim finished the cut and the suspect left with her two children. Student barber, Al Pugh, says he was shook. "You don't know what people is thinking so yeah, she could have shot me, maybe even shot her son," he said.
The barbers calmed her down and she left the shop with her kids. No one was hurt but they tell me the entire incident was bizarre.
"She shouldn't have pulled a gun out. Her life was not threatened," said Pugh. They called police but detectives haven't found the woman. Pugh says he can't stop thinking about the woman's son, sitting there in the chair.
"He was just kind of numb to it. He didn't move, he was numb to it," said Pugh.
Owner Michael D'Amico says the barbers did everything they could. He's been in business since the 1960s and says he doesn't want people to fear coming to his barbershop. He wants this angry mother off the streets.
"Hopefully they'll get this lady and get her straightened out somehow. She surely shouldn't be carrying a gun," said D'Amico.
Pugh says he's just glad she didn't follow through on her threats and "POP" anyone especially over something so trivial.
"Over a haircut. A six-dollar hair cut. A six dollar haircut," he said shaking his head.
If you provide a tip leading to this woman's arrest, you could get a reward. Call Crime Stoppers at 216-252-7463 with any information.
Did the barber shout back ; “Big Deal! I got eight clippers?”
That’s it i am moving to Vermont!
what a crazy situation.........
You can get banned, even on this site, if you speculate about certain things, so I will self censor, as to speculation as to why some people behave in certain ways.
I’m sure she had a permit for the gun.
Democrat voter. Nothing will happen to her.
Sounds like someone was in a hurry to get high
Owner Michael D’Amico says the barbers did everything they could..
Italian owner. Lots of ITalian owned barbershops on Staten Island. A few the past few years closed down for at least a month or so due to ties to organized crime (I still say it doesn’t exist :))
She did that in one of those places, I’m not sure what they would do.
Don’t want to jeopardize business over something like this, I think.
What she was thinking was “This cracker woman needs to jump for my big fat black ass because my people sold my people to your people to be slaves.”
I wonder if she can carry her two clips into jail? LOL.
Patty Hearst...
Trippin’
Obviously this barber knows nothing about wimmen.
Haircuts are an existential matter. Get it wrong and you're dead.
Another article on the incident reported that she claimed to have a carry permit. Somehow, I really doubt that’s true.
You used to have to go over to the east side to get that sort of thing. I guess the Clinic and the University have done enough ethnic cleansing on the east side to force some of the hostiles west of the river now.
Rest assured...she smoke a joint with her coffee just after getting out of bed.
He should have corrected her. They’re magazines.
The movers and shakers of the world do not like to have their time wasted. She obviously had important business to transact, corporate enterprises to run, construction to oversee, budget meetings to attend. She had no time for this barber and his dilly-dallying! She saw a problem. She saw a roadblock. She acted swiftly and removed the obstacle in front of her. This is how important people deal with things.
I didn’t think the authorities knew who she was yet.
Black man, learning a trade to provide a good life for himself and his family, cutting hair on a young black boy, threatened by violent black woman for inconveniencing her. And I’m the racist for not wanting to live in a “diverse” neighborhood.
