Blakes 7 is a British Sci-Fi show that turns the Star Trek universe, and emblem, on its nose. In a future corrupt federation, a band of escaped criminals turn and fight the federation. Classic British tragedy with the stars having stage background that lends ballet motion to their movements. "Comedy Tonight" includes a piece from the song "Everybody ought to have a serving-girl".

This was the most popular of the Blakes 7 music videos. I can't think of a single other show that would do this music justice.

Aah, Blake’s 7. I enjoyed watching that in my youth (the local PBS station aired that along with Dr. Who on their weekend Sci-Fi lineup). Now, I watch episodes on YouTube.

Avon’s jabs at the others were some of my favorite parts of Blake’s 7.

Great show. Watched up to when they killed everyone off (but was a poor choice of dinner viewing). Hard it resumed but never saw thereafter.

Ah, but as “Comedy Tonight” says, this time it all comes out alright.

Not bad. I always liked Blakes 7, the dynamics between Blake and Avon are what made the show worth watching. When Blake left the show suffered.
The end was shocking at the time but in hindsight, knowing Avons personality; it is pretty predictable.
