Rival Cult Group Machets One to Death in Delta
Daily Post (Nigeria) ^ | April 24, 2017 | Matthew Omonigho

In what appears to be a revenge mission, a rival cult group, in the early hours of today, launched a retaliatory attack over the death of one of their members, Kevwe Ikolo.

Ikolo was allegedly murdered at his residence barely a month ago.

Early Monday morning, suspected members of the Vikings confraternity stormed the home of a member of Aiye Confraternity at Ekiagbon Quarters and allegedly macheted one Emmanuel Misiate to death in his apartment.

DAILY POST learnt that Misiate had survived a similar attack in the past.

‎This time, it was gathered that the Vikings, allegedly led by one Jeffrey, aka Jboy, took the Aladja Community Vigilante unawares.

They stormed the residence of the deceased and macheted him seriously in all parts of his body until he gave up the ghost.

When contacted, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka said, “I am not aware”, adding that he would reach the DPO Ovwian/Aladja for confirmation.”

Kevwe Ikolo is just as good as Harambe.

Does anyone remember Harambe?

Vera Lynn?

Well, with all what's going on in Sweden I wondered where the Vikings went.

To Nigeria apparently.

Seriously. Some vehemently vivid verbiage there.

There was no apostrophe in the word macheted. From that and the headline, apparently there’s a new verb, to machet. I kind of like it (though spell check doesn’t), but we’ll have to see whether it catches on.

There was no apostrophe in the word macheted.

I know. I added it, trying to maintain equilibrium in the universe. However, I'm also going to look for an occasion to use "to machete" in a sentence.

"They stormed the residence of the deceased and machete'd him seriously in all parts of his body until he gave up the ghost."

I suppose that stands in contrast to being machete'd
in a comedic fashion about the head and shoulders.

(Personally I would have let them have the ghost
right off the bat if they wanted it that badly.)
