Shes a dumpling maker by day, but at night, 82-year-old Sumiko Iwamuro turns DJ in Tokyo.
Iwamuro, whose moniker is DJ Sumirock, spins techno music for a crowd some 60 years younger than she is.
A hit on the Tokyo club scene, she performs once a month in the heart of the citys red-light district.
Shes got this energy that goes beyond age, that can equal any young persons here. Shes really cool, said 25-year old club-goer, Fuminari Fujii.

I’m a metalhead, so I’ll not run into her. Kabukicho is full of fun and weirdness though.
Us metalheads avoid that music like the plague anyway.
