After all, liberals hate the truth.

OK, they hate just about everything.
Except themselves.
When government officials refuse a valid FOIA request, a court order should be issued and they should be jailed for contempt of court until they agree to satisfy the request.
Do I have a right to see MY FBI file?
My grandpa got a copy of his FBI file and showed it to me. They do have names redacted though.
He served as a Mormon missionary in Berlin, Germany in 1939 and saw Hitler in a parade (and got his film taken away by the SS guard standing behind them). All the missionaries were recalled to the US 10 days before the war started.
During the war since he was so fluent he worked for the FBI (stateside) cracking German codes and looking for clues in letters seized from German officers and sent back to the states. His unit cracked a few codes during the war but he said mostly it was boring reading love letters from officers to their girlfriends or wives.
Anyway, he loved the German people (though hated Hitler) so someone in his FBI unit thought he was too “sympathetic” to the Germans (or it was just plain old office politics) and reported him to be internally investigated. He found out after the investigation was completed. The investigation said he was fine. He wasn’t able to get a copy until the 1960’s (or so?). Some law about declassification after a certain number of years. Of course the individual who reported his name was redacted but he thought he could guess who in the office it was.
Wonder if Comey was privy to all this nonsense? Bet’cha he was.
