They are not apologizing to conservatives. Why should it matter if liberals are offended, they are offended if nothing is said. And when did an apology to a liberal ever change a liberal’s mind. Frankly, I’m finding a conservative apologizing to a liberal disgusting.
I don’t apologize to bullies. It does not heal anything to bend for haters.
You raise an excellent question —it was foolhardy for him even to START an apology, any kind of apology about this.
There is a HUGE, exotic grievance machine maintained by a Grievance Elite and in order to survive it periodically needs to be fed.
The part where we went off the rails is letting it get set up and running in the first place.
Real conservatives apologize out of a positive sense of responsibility or a negative sense of trepidation.
RINOs apologize so as to be thought timid cowards instead of the complicit traitors that they really are.
Same reason you don’t hear that many hellfire and brimstone preachers anymore. Thing is, I was watching “Jesus of Nazareth” and one person said that if they didn’t tell the truth and warn someone of sin that they would be held accountable for that person when standing before the throne. Don’t mean to change the subject, but I sure Sean wouldn’t talk so much during his press conference. I used to love watching Donald Rumsfeld’s press conferences during the Iraq War. He didn’t say much and let the reporters just bury themselves. He was so smart, and could be so cutting, he actually turned the tables and intimidated the press.
Spicer just talks too much in trying to reason with them. You can’t reason with those insane crazy Left wing loons. The less you say the better. The more sarcastic you are the better. What do you have to lose? They hate you anyways. I think Rumsfeld got it. But of course you have to be smart too. Not sure Spicer is smart enough.
Why are conservatives always apologizing?
Because Conservatives, generally speaking, are p__sies.
There are now transvestites on television advertising products.
That shows how successful the Left has been in taking over America's culture and soul, with no pushback from Conservatives in many decades.
As a matter of fact, Conservatives not only usually cave to the demands of the Left, but will eventually adopt the premises of the Left and help them.
An example of this is the North Carolina legislature caving to the demands of the trannies on account of a basketball game.
Have faith, though. A new element of the Right is on the ascent, and has fought back, literally, against the Left successfully several times. (Antifa got its butt kicked, again, by pro Trump, Alt-Lite and Alt-Righters in Berkeley this weekend)
If and when the Left is finally put in its place and hopefully destroyed, it won't be from any help from apologizing Conservatives.
Liberals define their ideology as good, moral, smart, rational, every great label you want.
Their first line of attack is to say “I’m offended” and demand the other person apologize, a way of putting them on the defensive and undermining their position by suggesting it was impolite to express that view. It is poisoning the well regarding conservative opinions. You see the same thing with Youtube flagging conservative content by Dennis Prager and others as “controversial” to warn people away.
The next step is labeling the speech they hate as hate speech and demanding it be censored because they’ve denied it has a reasonable basis. It is censorship by way of pathology, to quote Ben Shapiro. It also turns people against conservative views, since it puts discussion about topics like how many and what type of immigrants we should have and Islam’s fundamental roots in warfare in the same category as the KKK, making many afraid to even be associated with these views.
If they continue, then they say they have the right to ignore the irrational haters because there is nothing worth listening to, delegitimizing the speakers and their arguments in one insult.
Then comes “fighting hate speech” by outright censorship.
Now we see the anti-facists, the liberal bullies, armed and attacking people they have labeled as evil haters. They are warriors in the name of loving permitted to hate and threaten harm on all who dare publicly disagree after repeatedly refusing to reform when educated or stay silent.

I agree - if the media wasn’t on the warpath against us, we wouldn’t be apologizing...except where warranted.
I was talking about genuine conservatives, not Beltway phonies.
Sean Spicer strikes me as the real deal. I think he has a sense of honor.
The leftist Golden Rule of Double Standards (do unto others what you will never allow them to do unto you) says that only leftists can use Hitler comparisons.
