National Ex-Spouse Day is observed annually on April 14th. This day recognizes ones ex-spouse. The question has been asked why would one want to celebrate their Ex? We are not sure there is an answer to that question...

Does it also include spouses that have died? Mine passed just last Wednesday . . . and I imagine that I will celebrate her life for the rest of mine.
Condolences for your loss. Prayers up.
CC
No.
And I am very sorry for your loss.
Very sorry for your loss, Pilgrim’s Progress.
If I’d shot mine when I first wanted to, I’d have been out by now.
I love my husband’s ex wife. She is a really nice woman, brought up two lovely children whom I adore. She just had some surgery on her foot. I would appreciate it if you can keep her in your prayers. I’m blessed that I don’t have any of that horrible ex wife drama and for that I will forever be thankful.
God bless you, Pilgrim’s Progress.
I am very sorry to hear of you wife’s passing.
My sincere condolences.
The theme song is “Thank God and Greyhound You’re Gone.”
Oh, I am so sorry for your loss. May our Lord comfort you and send you solace.
This is just stupid.
Thank you all for your kind words. She had ovarian cancer and the Lord extended her an additional 3 1/2 years to help us to prepare for her homegoing. I only praise the Lord continually that it will be but a short separation.
We sorrow not as others which have no hope . . . we both met our Lord Jesus as Saviour back in 1976. Praise God that we have not a ‘hope-so’ - but an absolute ‘know-so’ salvation!

Excuse my stupidity, Bigg Red...
Yes you will
Whoa . . . and April 14 just happens to be my ex-wife’s birthday. . . .
ROFL!!!!
Yes. Another year goes by where I can’t celebrate this holiday AGAIN.
I wanted to marry someone who I was desperately in love with and who would give me an incredibly difficult time until I died.
I settled for someone that treats me like a king and who I love enough :)
I’ll avoid comment on my sorry ass ex.
