"Homeland" Showtime TV hates Trump loves Islamofascists

Now, some of the critics watching "Homeland" have — there’s a big story at NewsBusters featuring an interview with the cast. What everybody thinks has happened in Homeland is that after six years of naming Islamofascists as the bad guys, that Americans have become the bad guys. And that’s only half the story. That’s only half of what they’ve done on Homeland. This is amazing. And I’ll get to it in due course.

Loved "Homeland" for 5 seasons because they were clear-eyed about the external threats we face from Jihadists -- but they have gone off the rails and they clearly hate President Trump

Well I don’t agree about the first season but pretty quickly after that it became obvious and I stopped watching EXACTLY because of that.

I just finished watching season 1, not even an hour ago, and with all due respect the defector was clearly the bad guy. They made an effort to show the “why” of his treason, but made no claim that it wasn’t treason.

It was good enough to move on to season 2, and like most shows I expect it to go downhill fast.

Same thing happened to “24”. After a couple really good seasons it turned hard left and became unwatchable.

I did a quick read and I disagree just a bit with Rush's take on this season. Most of the season, the policies that the president-elect supported were ones that Hillary would have supported. For example, the president-elect believed the Iranians wanted to and were complying with Obama’s agreement with them to stop pursuing nuclear weapons. The evil CIA however cooked up FAKE intelligence that the Iranians were working with the North Koreans to make nukes. When the evil CIA factions were discovered doing their FAKE, then the evil CIA tried to assassinate the president-elect. The president-elect was saved by Carrie, who this season has become a defender of Muslims who were portrayed as innocent scapegoats of the evil CIA.

I think that most of the season was produced BEFORE Trump's victory when the writers and producers of the show thought that Hillary was going to win. I think that once Trump won it was too late to change MOST of the show. But, IMHO, they did add in some “Not My President mob scenes” and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, added in the very ending where they were implying (as a lead up to next season no doubt) that she was a Trump-like (as they view him) character rounding up all her political enemies.

I think that Rush is right, next season she'll be an evil Trump like character ALL SEASON. I won't be watching it.

Haven’t watched a TV show in many many years, and ave no desire to, but I can assure you that the vast majority of the Entire Entertainment Industry as a whole, TV,Radio,Music has nothing but utter contempt and hate for the average American and America in general.

I read an interesting article yesterday. They had filmed the first 8 episodes before Trump’s victory. The last 4 were filmed after. I may go back and watch and see when the Hillary figure went off the rails, and whether it was in response to the actual election.

That said, I hated this season.

I didn’t like how they tortured Quinn. Corrupt CIA seemed about right. Carrie has always been off the wall. The Muslim sympathizing that so many complained about was really minimal. Maybe not the best season, but still had great acting and the plot line managed to surprise me

Ironically in the series, what the deep state is doing to the new female President-Elect is exactly what is happening to Trump.

I saw the same things happening since election day, with the sabotage of the Trump Administration by the inplace Obama intel team, compounded byt the spying for 2 years on the Trump team, the planting of evidence, the potential rogue operations of illegally releasing top secret intel, the insubordination, the sandbagging....this was all happening to Trump, done by the deep state left, and cheered on by the DNC-Media.

So Homeland is right, but it is the leftist scumbags, who have set the world aflame with Obama, who are doing it to Trump.
