The article pretends she has some case because someone was once charged for killing an armed robber in NC.

Unfortunately the person charged in the case cited was not charged for defending himself, but for illegal possession of a firearm as a felon.

Go ahead and fire him. Then do a Go Fund Me campaign for the worker. Once the fund hits 2x his yearly salary give the leftover money to the next stand your ground type. 2 year vacation.

Good post. A perfect example of "well if that is the exception, that proves the rule." (That apparently nobody has ever been charged for shooting somebody robbing their restaurant or fast-food joint.)

Odd is it not? A felon carrying a weapon because he knew he worked in a dangerous environment. This felon was making an honest living and just did not want to die.

I would hope the courts just look the other way on this man. He did not want to die and took appropriate action.
