While I don’t disagree with your characterization of Assad, I fail to see how getting in the middle of a fight between two baby killers does anyone, particularly America, any good at all. Is outrage and indignation to be the driving force behind our foreign policy from this day forth? whose outrage carries the day, Ivanka’s, Trump’s, yours or mine? And is their/our outrage a valid reason to commit the lives of American soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines to make them/us feel better?
Has everyone forgotten that ISIS also has chemical weapons, including chlorine, mustard and sarin, and has used them numerous times - 52 according to one source? Has everyone forgotten the highway in Iraq that was lined with the heads of hundreds of men, women and children impaled on stakes - all killed by ISIS? What about the Jordanian pilot that was burned alive in a cage and the many men, women and children since then who were dressed in orange suits, doused in gasoline, placed in a cage and burned alive? Where is the international outrage about ISIS’ atrocities?
Have you had a chance to hear Nikki Haley’s speech about the bombing? Very firm statement, she is developing into an asset.

It was either Assad or the Syrian insurgents based on the location of attack. Spy satellite has recorded data showing the fixed wing aircraft flew out of the airport controlled by Assad. Your point is unclear. Horrible things have been happening and our past leaders have put their heads in the sand or their hands in their pockets or made deposits to off shore accounts. Atrocities continued as bad guys became emboldened.
There’s a new guy in town who says the buck stops here. You think he should let a few more atrocities go by before he makes a show of strength? Why exactly? Does doing the same thing over & over get different results?
How about we try the traditional methods of standing up to bullies rather than being the 800lb gorilla cowering behind the curtain. How about we live up to what it means to be America and speak out against atrocity and back up that speech to show we are serious.
There is a long long way from a show of strength to a war and that show of strength is a time tested way to avoid a war.

Your point about getting in middle of 2 baby killers is not rational, because firing cruise missiles sans boots on the ground hardly comprises as starting an invasion or new war. It was a measured, proportional, quick & effective response to use of chemical WMD’s. It is similar to what Reagan did to Qaddafi and it was effective. I have feeling this one will be as well.

ILLEGAL immigration is in a bear market. Legal immigration should be based on skill or money, like New Zealand and Australia have done, with great success and benefit of importing skilled immigrants mainly from Asia. Sooner we wake up and reduce immigration based on family connection, the better.
