Except that’s not actually true. The president isn’t a dictator. His policies HAVE TO go through Congress. And on some level they HAVE TO get buy in from the people that didn’t vote for him. And when it comes to foreign policy they HAVE TO get buy in from other countries. That’s just the reality of the world, no man is an island, especially not the president of a country with a government that was specifically designed to have gridlock. And one of the big problems we already knew he was going to have, and is demonstrably having right now, is that scorched earth method of getting elected left a lot of people in Congress that don’t like him and will not support him unless he aligns strongly with their existing opinions. From a practical standpoint he is an independent not a Republican and he cannot expect the party to grind out votes for him, he insulted too many of them on the way up.
Well put. Thank you.
Is is it worth risking new military action based on a false assumption just to disprove an MSM lie?
The strike was measured, proportional and well executed.
It does NOT signal an increase or further involvement in Syria.....In fact, the message it sent was not just for Syria but the rest of the world.....
It shows that we are no longer a tepid world participant but we are again a force to be rekoned with....
The strike changes the scope of all future negotiations with other overtly and openly hostile countries.....
This is a process. Don`t be so quick to judge until you see the end result.
Show me the vidence you have that Trump doesn’t. Give me your sources that prove this was a false flag.
Everything the pentagon has points to a plane dropping the WMDs. Isis doesn’t have an Air Force. Why on Earth would Trump do such an action if it’s false flag? Are your sources better than our military’s? Do you not see the bigger picture of what this strikes indicators are to Iran, China, North Korea and Russia?
Cause right now, you’re just making crap up because you never cared for Trump in the first place.
Like it or not, we ARE the World’s Policeman (because no one else is even remotely competent or up to the job).
Stuff like this is bound to happen from time to time.
People are just wary because Bush SCROOOOD the Pooch so badly.
In Trumps mind? I’d say yes. You prove you are not in league with the Iran/Syria/Russia axis and you pay little or no political capitol.
They’re ALL POS in that area.
NONE of them are worth spending American lives or treasure.
Assad is simply a less of PoS than most of his opponents. He is a fascist, not a religious fanatic - which, in the ME, is a step up.
And there is no guarantee that he is the one made the chemical attack.
The attack on Assad irritates the Sov, er, Russians, weakens the most effective opponent to ISIS, and gets us up further mixed up this ME crap.
We’re irritated because this the first step back from his campaign promises.
The results of our interventions in the ME have not turned out well enough to justify our further involvement. We need to pack it up, go home, and leave these inbred, mouth-breathing morons to slaughter each other.
I think Sean Spicer agrees with you. His most recent press gaggle was not very convincing.
This propaganda outlet is so beyond its expiration date.
The reason that Jared and Ivanka shouldn’t be working in the administration, first and foremost, is because they are liberal Democrats working hard to pull Trump and his admin to the left of the platform he ran on and what those who voted him in want him to do. It is fraudulent for Trump to run as a conservative Republican and then hand policy, hiring and his admin over to his liberal Democrat offspring.
Also, Jared especially exposes Trump to charges of impeachment for enriching his family from foreign sources—with the Democrats having a good chance of taking the House in 2018. And yes, putting family with 24/7 access among other government employees is a recipe for a roiled WH and admin.
You heard how Trump decided to bomb after listening to Ivanka's emotional reaction to seeing the children gas victims? He didn't sound like himself when he made his statement yesterday. "No child of God should ever suffer" didn't come from his own word bank and sounded plainly like religious/emotional baiting, something I'm not use to hearing from him. Did the witch's curse of February 25th work?
Yep. Supposedly he wants more positive press coverage—and thinks if he just turns sharply left, as Jared and Ivanka have been taking him—he will get reelected. Instead, more likely it’ll lead to a Democrat majority in the House in 2018 and an impeachment process centered on the ethics tangles of Jared, especially, by 2019.
