i am for returning the filibuster to its original status.
the 60 vote filibuster needs to go either way i guess.
Remove the two-track rule, but leave the vote threshold at 60 votes until the 2018 elections. With more GOP seats thus obtained, lift it to 67. Nobody’s perfect, and the filibuster is a minority protection device.
I was wondering about that - could McTurtle just adjourn the Senate and Trump does a recess appointment? Probably not.
