I am a Romo fan and was hoping he’d take another run at it. Thing is, after a spectacular 2014, he basically did not play in 2015 or 16 due to significant injuries. The guy played hard and took a lot of hits. I think he made the call that it wasn’t worth the potential for more serious injuries. He easily could have had a starting job at at least 2-3 team and probably more.
The guy was undrafted and ended up with top 5 stats in the league. He made a lot of money and got the be the QB of the Dallas Cowboys for a decade. Not too shabby.
No,not too shabby.And with his NFL pension,his savings (hopefully he hasn't spent *everything* he earned) and the fact that he'll make far more than minimum wage in the future he can be sure of a comfortable and secure one.
