For the biology-challenged NCAA, you can take the tournaments out of North Carolina but the best college basketball programs in America still call Tobacco Road home.

I’m not a fan of Gonzaga, but it’s sad when refs decide a championship.
I thought, in 2nd half, when Gonzaga called time out and came back shooting, that Gonzaga would win and North Carolina would become the Buffalo Bills of college basketball, always a runner up. But, ‘Heels got it together. Great game. Two great teams.
The NCAA does not want a West coast team, or a non-major conference to win the championship. It’s a shame, because it would be more exciting, if they allowed it.

refs made sure to reward NC for allowing the men into little girls room....
You got to be kidding? Clearly their was tampering! I’m not pointing fingers but there was the strong aroma of Borscht on breath of some of the officals! ;-)

Why the hell is a college sports association (NCAA) trying to dictate state law anyway?
The Zags were so amazing this year. Painful to lose but they never did hold the lead like they did almost all games this season. They made it to the championship game. And next year they will be unbeatable.

Worst National Championship game I’ve seen in the last 30 years. Players could not shoot...could not make free throws...One word for the game tonight...UGLY.

The Zags were awesome this year. And one call, changed either way in the end, could have meant a different outcome. Just crowing a little bit and looking for a little political spin. Hey, It’s basketball and it’s basically meaningless in the grand scope of things. I will guarantee you that the players don’t care about politics and my wish is that they never do.
But... it makes the Duke ACC championship look like a participation trophy :-0. So I have that going for me, which is nice...
North Carolina should have lost to Arkansas, Kentucky, Oregon AND Gonzaga, but for some reason the refs wanted it otherwise. UNC got critical calls all through the tournament. It was obvious and very suspicious.
Meanwhile, the NCAA spins it’s wheels and seems to be reluctant to do anything to UNC in regard to the 20+ years of academic fraud which kept athletes eligible that otherwise wouldn’t be. Not counting last night, there are 2 championships that UNC should be made to forfeit because of ineligible players. Not holding my breath though, as the NCAA seems to be as corrupt as North Carolina.
Somebody needs to follow the money somewhere.
I told my wife and friends that the NCAA might let UNC win this one since HB2 was repealed.
