At 12:30 PM or 1200 hours in many “nice” neighborhoods, everyone is at work or at school or in the day care.

If all homeowners would put forth the effort and expense of arming themselves and practicing so they don’t have to think about it all when two guys come busting through the door, a lot of this would evaporate, some just from the reduced number of robbers.

I was thinking in terms of those specific perps not being around any longer to rob others.
Not in terms of the deterrent it would be for the thug community in general.

I live in the country in SW PA and 2 near here resulted in perps taking dirt naps neither drug related.
Local dirt bags around here routinely target homes of the ill or elderly for prescription pain meds, burglary or push in home invasion.
