We have a conservative female friend, who spent 25 years in a county Child Protective Agency.
She said the most dangerous and possibly deadly situation, a baby/child could be in was when their Mother was living with someone, who wasn’t the father of the children.
Then, throw in alcohol and or drug abuse by the man in the house, and a tired screaming baby often would trigger violence from the man who wasn’t their father.
You are correct. It’s almost like a male animal killing rivals.
