My mother used to tell stories about going to White Castle as a kid (a long,long time ago).I recall her having spoken of hamburgers the size of quarters...and she'd laugh as she said it.

Driving down the New England Thruway into the Bronx I see a White Castle among all the auto body shops...I think it's the only one I've ever seen.

My most memorable White Castle experience was the one at the corner of 16th Street and Lafayette Rd. in Speedway Indiana right outside the gates of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at 3:30 a.m. the night before the 1980 Indy 500. The zombie apocypse descended on the place to bulk up on sliders before the gates opened at 6.

And yes, I was one of the zombies.
