You are exactly right. We have many, many examples. The teacher should have known better and is the adult.

What I am saying is they know more than we did at that age. It is a different time, I went to Catholic school and can tell you there are things I did not know about until I was much older. So glad I had parents on me like white on rice.
This woman agrees. Teen-aged girls these days are much different than my cohort and I were in the 1960s. They have knowledge of — and experience in — sexual activities that I had not even heard of until well into adulthood.
Like you, I went to Catholic school and led a very sheltered life, for which I am most grateful.
