That doesn’t entail abandonment of one’s principles. Nor does it entail standing idly by while others make the country a target for divine wrath.
I trust gods divine wrath if you want to call it that. I don’t trust my own. so many times through out history mans sinful nature gets in the way of seeing the truth . I don’t pretend to understand homosexuality and I am lucky enough to say it is not my burden to carry. I have other burdens and chose to treat those that I differ my views on sex with the same respect I hope to see from them....I disagree with you on god being a wrathful entity we just perceive it as that because usually the end result of not fallowing him appears wrathful but all that is happening is the end result of our sinful ways catching up to us. god does not target us we just create the seeds of our own destruction.
