Statins, ugh. No warnings I recall, I was eating grapefruit and taking GENERIC NAME: rosuvastatin BRAND NAME: Crestor.
Muscle pain and aches, other problems.
Don’t know if the grapefruit was a problem or if just made the statin side-effects worse, or if it was just the statin.
But I could tell something was wrong. Anyway my cholesterol was down, I lost weight, better diet, exercised and discontinued it. Everything seems copacetic now.

It would sure be nice if they could figure out this crap BEFORE they prescribe it to millions of people.

Muscle pain and aches, other problems.

You may have had the beginning of rhabdomyolysis and this is serious. The statins are great drugs but drug interactions with food and other drugs can be major. Listen to your pharmacist. His or her job is to educate you about your medicines and not putting pills in a bottle.
