Austin Healey 3000 in British racing green.

“Austin Healey 3000 in British racing green.”
Makes the video. Probably the most gorgeous of the smaller Brit sports cars of the era. Triumph GT6 a close second.
Classic 70s-80s radio stations and department store music over the years I’ve learned that around 5 bands or musicians songs you’re definitely going to hear over and over again: eagles, Hall & Oats, Prince, Michael and Tear for Fears
Yes, they did.
I was more of a rocker, but I found their music a refreshing change from the bilge on MTV.
“Head Over Heels” might be my favorite music video ever.
Nice car, my ex wife had one. If someone walked a dog ten blocks away and the dog urinated, the car wouldn’t start because of the dampness. When it ran it was a fun car, nicer looking than the Corvettes of the time.
In my youth, I had a MG.
So much fun to drive...when it worked.
I bought it new and became fast friends with the Service Manager as it spent a LOT of time there for warranty repairs.
Sold it a year later to a guy who did not know how to drive a manual and bought it without driving it.
Thanks for posting. It was funny to see the bank of pay phones at the side of the road. How quickly things change.
Well, at least one less with that evil Rockefeller dead!!
And here’s one released a few years later.
“Crabs Walk Sideways” - The Smothers Brothers -1988

Funny team, no matter their politics.
Lovin’ it, thanks...
I wonder if they paid good money to get their hair to look like that. The 80s may have been the worst hair decade ever.
Heard them play this in a televised concert last year.
Still sounded pretty darned good.
