I didn’t know Duke lost! I was reading “Is this the worst NCAA Tournament?” and going “YES” because it was just the same old basketball factories moving on without any upsets.
So the whiny, privileged Dookies are gone. We still have the whiny, privileged UK Wildcats, the whiny, privileged KU Jayhawks and the whiny, privileged and cheating UNC Tar Babies around to pick up the trophy.
They make such a big fuss about 68 teams yet, in most years, it’s one of the same handful of factories. NCAA basketball has become really stale. For the first time this year, I didn’t even bother with the brackets.

Dook lost to SC because they had not seen that suffocating SC defense up close and personal. That’s why SC has won the first three games when they not one of the top tier teams in the SEC. SEC teams are used to playing them. The defense didn’t seem to bother ten other teams this year. Yes,SC lost 10 games, with 7 of those loses being to SEC teams. They lost three of the last five games heading into the NCAA tournament, with one of those loses by 15 points to Florida. They play Florida again tomorrow in the Elite 8.
