AP ^ | March 18, 2017 | Stephen Hawkins

By doing the things that coach Kim Mulkey had been emphasizing since a rare Big 12 Tournament loss, the Baylor Lady Bears opened the women' NCAA Tournament with an overwhelming record-setting performance. It also helped that the Lady Bears, with three post players at least 6-foot-4, were much bigger than NCAA first-timer Texas Southern.

Sounds a cure for insomnia. There is no depth in women sports so you get U Conn winning 100 games in a row and blowouts like this.

It seems there are not enough genderbenders to put all teams on an equal footing?

Texas Southern?

Way to beat up on snowflakes, Kim. You must be a racist.

TS needs an “affirmative action” program and Federal $$$ to make it all “fair”.

How many 6’4 women do you know, let alone that are athletes? One team having 3 of the would be kind of the equivalent of a men’s team having 3 8 and a half footers.

I do agree that women’s basketball doesnt I general have the depth of men’s basketball, but I also think there is a far greater disparity, or deciationfrom the norm for women most women are short... but you can find 6’4 women. You can’t find 8.5’ men

In contrast, the Lady Huskies post players are 5'11", 6'1" and 6'3" - how will they ever compete with Baylor....?

So... were they all women, or were they men who “identify” as women?

This “transgender” thing has the potential to destroy women’s sports. It’s putting us back centuries. In Shakespeare’s time, women were not allowed to do anything, and the female roles written into his plays were acted by men.

Jennifer Rizzotti was 5’6” when she starred on the UConn Huskies. She dribbled rings around the tall gals.

She had LGBT Brittany Griner for four years and won only one championship.
