It’s actually a lot of fun to REMOVE staples from people.

My supervisor asked me to remove staples from his back to save him a doc visit. Actually, he verbally mulled it over and I jumped at the chance. rarely do these opportunities to learn real life skills present themselves.

He bought a one-time use staple extractor off the innerweb. I did it right in his office in front of a crowd.

They called me the Staple Whisperer that week, and I still got a raise even though he bled!

A couple years ago, my kid had to get some staples for some injury. The clinic he went to just got their stapler and he was their first patient, so they were all crowding in to see how it worked.

He took it in stride.

They work fine.

I’ve been known to use off he shelf super glue to repair minor cuts. Works great and peels off after a few days.
