I dropped out at spring break time. Spent what would have been my spring break at Navy Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL, starting a 20 year career in the Navy.
Same here. I worked summers for a family friend who owned a landscaping company, plus one in a mail room. Both paid substantially above minimum wage at the time.
That counted as a spring break, didn’t it?!
